ST. PADDY'S DAY IN TOWN

March 18, 2015 ATHLONE, IRELAND

This Tuesday (17th Mar) was a special day for all Irish because we celebrated St. Patrick's Day everywhere, from big cities like Dublin, Galway, Cork to other little towns like where I am living. You can see everybody wearing green clothes or accessories because the green of shamrock leaf is the symbol of Irish. I believe that every local person here has at least a green outfit for themselves. But more interestingly, we don't allow to be drunk on that day!

I still remember our St. Paddy's Day (another friendly call of St. Patrick's Day) last year was in Galway. Many things were really different because it was the first time for us to stay here and adapt with brand-new things. Needless to say, even though we met few troubles when living in a new country with different culture but it has been very worth to enjoy our youth before 30 in somewhere outside our hometown. Do you agree with this idea?

Last but not least, I would say that when St. Paddy's Day has come, we would be more lucky then because local people loves to say "good luck" to everyone else.

So, may the luck of the Irish be with you, my lovable readers!

Happy St. Patrick's Day.
